Grok Status

Grok was pushed through the visible Mac terminal and produced the preflight command plan under the requested size cap. The Grok process exited cleanly after writing the artifact.

NUC Preflight Outcome

Read-only NUC preflight ran through VPS reverse SSH to nuc-via-reverse. First pass showed wmic is unavailable on the current Windows build, so the successful pass used PowerShell/CIM equivalents.

Catalog/Promotion Lesson

The first promotion for the Grok preflight artifact returned status=promoted but the target context returned 403 not authorized. Retrying with the standard visible tag set docs/runbook/uapi and the established Grok NUC slug pattern succeeded immediately. Explorer should validate tag policy before returning promoted.

Next Gate

No Gemma/SLM route may be called production-ready yet. Next action is a separate operator-approved install/download/benchmark gate for OpenVINO GenAI first, with llama.cpp/OpenVINO or IPEX-LLM only as alternatives after license, maintenance, security, and fit review.
