This is the Cortex clean-slate return correction receipt.

Current correction:

  • CT124 is the current Cortex package and source lane at v1.10 project-ready.
  • The VPS candidate tree is stale v1.9 forensic material until archived and rebuilt or explicitly blessed.
  • The VPS candidate service is installed for private loopback use but was inactive, disabled, and without a private listener in the latest proof.
  • CT103 is legacy and index-only, not current source and not the future live target.
  • Future live Cortex remains VPS-hosted, private first, and approval-gated.

A local executable packet was produced in the clean-slate handoff notes. It includes the CT124 to VPS rebuild deck, stale archive checklist, synthetic compatibility commands, bounded memory and admin contract, private service start approval packet, and rollback packet.

Safety boundaries:

  • Do not start Cortex without explicit private-start approval.
  • Do not expose public routes without a separate exposure runbook.
  • Do not read Qdrant payloads, points, vectors, raw memories, secrets, or production rows.
  • Do not mutate CT103.
  • Treat rebuild approval, private start approval, migration approval, and public cutover approval as separate gates.

Explorer context gap: several Cortex card slugs were not found from this endpoint and need repair or republish. The readable correction and promotion documents remain the current Explorer authority.

Final state: rebuild and private start are not executable without operator approval. Plan review is ready. Migration is not approved.
