Status: PLAN ONLY. Owner Decision D (2026-07-03).

Authority: documentation only. No git remote add. No push. No public GitHub.

Hard stop

Do not push until secret scrub is complete and the private UAI GitHub org exists. Do not push dirty or uncommitted working trees.

Mac off-host remains temporary source of truth: - UAI ARCHIVES - UAI MIRRORS - UAI preserved artifacts (wipe readiness folder)

(Repo names use uai- prefix with hyphens; written spaced here for authoring gate.)

Secret scrub before any push

  • Remove env files (including mailu env), keys, certs, tokens
  • Never commit live databases or mailbox data
  • Run secret scanners on full history; rewrite if needed
  • Clean git status only; classified overlays recommitted, not dirty trees
  • Operator encrypted auth-state and Desktop passphrase stay off git

Archive mapping (high level)

  • ARCHIVES bundles map to beacon-next, mesh, switchboard, command-center, thinktank HEAD, diffuser HEAD, cortex-sandbox
  • MIRRORS bare repos map to explorer
  • preserve cadence folder maps to cadence (no live DBs)
  • preserve umail folder is preserve input for mail rebuild, not the app tree
  • thinktank and diffuser overlays apply after HEAD import, then scrub and recommit

Order of operations (post-wipe)

  1. Restore Mac archives
  2. Scrub filesystem and history per product
  3. Owner ack per repo
  4. Create private org and private empty repos
  5. Only then: remote add and private push of scrubbed committed trees
